Return & Refund Policy

At Chariot Outdoor, we want you to feel confident in your purchase. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

At a glance

  • Return window: Request within 15 days of delivery
  • Ship-back deadline: Ship your return within 15 days of approval
  • Condition required: New/unused, clean, original packaging, all accessories included
  • Change-of-mind refunds: Customer pays return shipping + 5% restocking fee
  • Defective/damaged/incorrect item: No restocking fee + we cover return shipping (reported within 15 days with photos)
  • Return labels: We provide the return shipping label and instructions after approval

1) Eligibility

Who can return: United States orders only.

What can be returned: We accept returns and exchanges for defective and non-defective products when:

  • You request the return within 15 days of delivery
  • The item is unused and clean
  • The item is in original packaging with all parts/accessories included

2) How to start a return or exchange

Email support@chariotoutdoor.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The reason (change of mind / defective / damaged / incorrect item)
  • Photos (required for defective, damaged, or incorrect item claims)

We’ll reply with approval and the return shipping label and instructions.

3) Return shipping & ship-back deadline

Ship-back deadline: After approval, please ship your return within 15 days.

Return label: We provide the return shipping label after approval.

Change-of-mind / non-defective:

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • The cost of the return shipping label will be deducted from your refund.

Defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect item:

  • We cover return shipping if reported within 15 days of delivery with photos.

4) Restocking fee (change-of-mind refunds)

If you return a non-defective item for a refund due to change of mind, a 5% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.

  • The restocking fee is calculated on the item price only.
  • Original shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable.
  • No restocking fee applies to defective, transit-damaged, or incorrect-item returns (when reported within 15 days with photos).

Note: Refunds may be reduced by the restocking fee (if applicable), return label cost (if applicable), and/or condition-based deductions (see below).

5) Exchanges

Standard exchange: We ship the replacement after we receive and inspect your return.

Instant exchange (optional): Place a new order; we refund the original once the return is received and inspected.

6) Inspection & possible deductions

Returned items must arrive clean, unused, and well-protected. Please keep the product box pristine and ship in an outer box whenever possible.

If packaging is destroyed, parts are missing, or there are signs of use, we may refuse the return or apply a reasonable deduction based on condition and missing components.

7) Refund timing

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 7 days after the return is received and inspected.
  • Your bank may take an additional 3–5 business days to post the credit.

8) Non-returnable items

  • Used items or items showing signs of use
  • Items missing parts, manuals, or original packaging
  • Final-sale items and gift cards
