About Us

We’ve poured our hearts into creating Lawn Chariot. It all started with the frustration of hauling camping chairs and gear to our kids' soccer games. We watched other parents face the same struggle, and we thought: there has to be a better way.

Before the Lawn Chariot, we were working on a project called Wheelchariot—a motorized add-on for manual wheelchairs. It started as a college project, driven by a desire to create something meaningful to improve people’s lives. Wheelchariot has amazing potential, but technical challenges and regulatory hurdles slowed us down. While we’re still working on it and hope to launch someday soon, we needed another way to keep our dream of inventing alive.

That’s when the Lawn Chariot was born. As parents, we knew the hassle of lugging gear across fields and sitting under the blazing sun. We wanted to create something that made family outings easier, more comfortable, and a lot more fun. We started by focusing on what mattered most—comfortable seats at the perfect height. Comfort was key. We even took inspiration from foldable wheelchairs—known for being ergonomic and designed for long-term comfort—to make the Lawn Chariot the best it could be.

Then, the ideas started to grow. What if we added a canopy—one that could be set up quickly and taken anywhere? What if we designed it to carry everything needed for a day out—coolers, snacks, all our gear—so no one had to make multiple trips? We realized the Lawn Chariot could be so much more: perfect for fishing with a cooler at your side, always having a seat ready at theme parks, setting up lemonade stands, visiting farmers markets, or even waiting in long lines in comfort. The possibilities were endless, and we knew we were onto something special.

We envision Lawn Chariot as more than just a wagon or a couple of seats. It’s a mobile relaxation suite, designed to make family outings simpler, more comfortable, and more enjoyable.
